Texas Renaissance FestivalThis edition of Anomaly is a report of Jen and Angela’s trip to The Texas Renaissance Festival, during the Highland Fling weekend, November 23-24th. The episode includes a light-hearted commentary, a plethora of costume photos, video footage from this trip and previous years, a bit of complaining about how misearble it is to camp during the winter, a brief mention of their experience playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and a bit of teasing about their upcoming episodes.

About the Author:

Believer, wife, mom, designer, voice actress, podcast host...Anomaly. Jen is one of the founding co-hosts of Anomaly. She introduced Angela to Podcasts in 2006, after stumbling upon Treks In Sci-Fi. They became involved in the Trek SF forum and were encouraged by the host (and now good friend) Rico Dosti, to start their own show. They did in 2007 with a little help from their friends and have never looked back. :)

    I totally agree about the comments regarding costumes for cons vs faires. Con is all about honoring specific characters that people can recognize. Faires is all about “garb” and detail and fantasy. And mead. I mean what?
