It’s the second episode in our Classic Who series, which means we’re talking about Patrick Troughton, the Second Doctor! After taking recommendations and then polling the Anomaly Facebook Group, we settled on the fifth series serial “The Tomb of the Cybermen,” which also happens to be the earliest complete serial from the Second Doctor’s tenure.
We discuss our impressions of the Second Doctor, before and after watching this story; his companions; the, um, interesting special effects; intimidation levels of old versus new cybermen; and much, much more.
