In this special Anomaly Podcast Video report, Angela and I discuss ClockWork Con. Kasey, from Anomaly Supplemental, and our friends Stephanie and Jen (from the T-Ren vidcast report) were also in attendance at the con in Austin, Texas. We had a great time. There were LOTS of people in wonderfully unique costumes. In fact there were probably only two (aside from our group) who were not in full Victorian garb. Unusual. We took a lot of photos and Kasey and Bug’s Jen helped with video which is included in this episode.
This was ClockWork Con’s first year. I would call it very successful. The gadgetry show was small but very well done. We picked up vendor business cards to share contact information with our audience.
We also discussed the con panels/panelists and had mixed feelings with regards to the handful we attended.
Overall, it was a con I would recommend to residence of Austin and the surrounding area. Anyone within an hour or two from Austn, should go next year…in costume! It’s small, but very enjoyable.
Comments from two attendees who are not Anomaly listeners are included in the show as well as Kasey’s thoughts on her experience there. Thank you very much for the feedback. Thank you also to the con directors for the media passes. We appreciate it.
Please be sure to comment below, call our voice mail line or email us. We love hearing from our audience. In fact we plan to produce a feedback episode soon and would love to include comments regarding this show or any others in our feedback edition. And, if you get a chance, leave us a rating on iTunes.
Be sure to check out our newly updated schedule, we’ll be back on track with our audio podcasts soon.

Hey guys,
As far as I know, there was no Airship Arabella at Clockwork Con. Could you possibly be talking about Airship Isabella? Nice work by the way! :-) So glad that you guys enjoyed the con!
Amelia Whittaker
Navigator, Airship Isabella
Doh! You’re so right! I did mean Airship Isabella! So sorry! I came across Airhship Arabella in a google search when looking for a link to Airship Isabella’s web site. I wanted to include a link in our show notes. I must have mixed the two names up. What I found online didn’t look right so I didn’t include it. I will include the correction in our notes. You’re apart of Airship Isabella? I noticed you joined our forum. Can you give us a little introduction to your group? Are you role players? How does one go about joining a group like yours? :) We’re very curious.

This is long overdue, but I was going through some photos and ‘tagging’ them in facebook and was reminded that I should make contact. We met briefly at Clockwork Con & chatted outside in the ‘pipe smoking area’.
