Rick Moyer

Please support Jen and Angela’s friend, Rick, by buying one of his albums from CD Baby or iTunes: MW-Orbit,  Stargazer, So Many Moons Single, Just Beyond Pluto Single,  The Martians Are Here Soundtrack and Robot Gunslinger Cowboy Single.

Rick has been playing music since he was a kid. He has always been fascinated with creating atmosphere’s with music. He loves live shows with lasers and fog, and loud music and really digs electronic music as well as heavy metal.

He has owned a home studio for over twenty years and has made everything from instrumental space music to the scores for audio dramas. I has also written and directed many musical dramas for stage. His heart is to express emotion and mood with my music. Rick loves to tell a good story and enjoy being creative.

He has been in a few bands over the years and has played and sang at church. He plays gutiar, piano, synth, drums, bass and saxaphone.

Rick has his own company called Moyer Multi Media LLC and he does everything from web work to photography, voice overs, music creation and more.

He co-hosts a weekly podcast called Take Him With You– where he talks about his life, his faith and geeky topics like television, science fiction and movies. It is available on iTunes or at the Take Him With You website. Rick’s audience is from all around the world with an average of 12,000 hits to his website on a monthly basis.

He and his wife produce a weekly newsletter called “The Weekly Encouragement”; you can subscribe to it at the Take Him With You website. Their goal is to encourage and inspire people to be the best that they can be.

Rick appeared as a guest on several Anomaly episodes, the latest was “Anomaly of A Stargazer”.

Rick’s creativity and music can also be heard on “Rick Dostie’s Treks In Sci Fi” , a weekly podcast, as he creates “Star Trek” Parody songs and other fun music. He also helped score the “Ready Room Podcast” by creating music that was used as bed music beneath readings. Lastly, Rick is a good friend of Angela and Jen’s.

Simon Meddings (“Meds” to his friends)

Meds is also one of two hosts of “WaffleOn“, a show that covers classic television and movies from Engalnd, Austraila and the US. They pick a show, play the theme music then talk (AKA ‘waffle on’) about the show.  Meds is also one of  three co-hosts of “MASH4077 Podcast“, a podcast dedicated to the “MASH” television series. He has also written a novel, which is in the second draft and has begun writing his second book. Meds co-wrote an audio drama called “Two White Doves” with Jen from the Anomaly, and is currently working on a second drama series with her. Meds has appeared as a guest host on “Anomaly of Monty Python and the Holy Grail”.  Lastly, Meds was one of the staff writers for “The Martians Are Here Podcast” and a good friend to Angela and Jen.

Kenny Mittleider

Kenny  is the host of the “Knights of The Guild“, the official fan podcast of the webseries “The Guild”. KOTG is not a typical fan podcast as both co-hosts work on the set of “The Guild”. Kenny is also one of three hosts of the “MASH4077 Podcast“.  He and Jen have plans for yet another show called “Epic Geek Out”, but the podcast is on hold due to very busy lives. That said, they hope to begin recording soon. When Kenny isn’t hosting podcasts he’s a Post Production Supervisor for various television shows. He’s also an avid TV and movie watcher.  Everyone tells him that he would make a horrible movie critic because his movie watching philosophy is if the movie was entertaining then he likes it. Never mind the bad script or acting. . . if he is entertained then it gets a thumbs up from Kenny.

Another big obsession of mine his is collecting; everything from action figures to cards, from DVD’s to magazines. Kenny appeared as a guest host on the Anomaly episode “Anomaly of Ezri Dax”. He was also interviewed on “Anomaly of The Guild”.

Jeff Jobb

Jeff is one of the co-hosts of the “ChampPodcast”, a show that follows Indy and Formula 1 car racing. He’s a friend to all the people above him on this page and to Jen and Angela. Jeff is a long time Sci-Fi fan from the first time he saw Star Wars in the Theater as a child. He has grown a strong passion for Star Wars, Star Trek and many other Sci-Fi movies and TV shows. Jeff is one of the co-hosts of “ChampPodcast”, a podcast that covers Indycar and Formula 1 racing, the podcast comes out every few weeks during the racing seasons. Jeff also hosts a monthly picture enhanced podcast on Sci-Fi collectibles called “JediJeff’s Basement“, where he reviews an item from his collection. You can find out more about Jeff and his podcast projects at Popoff Podcasts, and his thoughts on life at his Blog. Jeff has been a friend of Jen and Angela for a few years and met through the Treks in Sci-Fi website and podcast. Jeff also assists on the Anomaly website back-end from time to time, and has been working in the IT industry for 16 years with an interest in computers and the internet.

Kevin Bachelder

Kevin lives just south of Boston, MA in the USA. He first became interested in scifi by watching the original Star Trek series in reruns during the early 70′s as well as the short lived 1974 series Kolchak: The Night Stalker’. Yes, he is that old!

Some of the scifi and fantasy shows/movies that he enjoys are Firefly,Farscape, Buffy, Fringe, Supernatural, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Matrix and The X-Files to name just a few.  He also has a crazy obsession with scifi B movies including all those gems that the US Syfy Channel airs on Saturday nights.

He currently co-hosts the Tuning in to Scifi TV podcast as well as the Saturday B Movie Reel podcast. He also spent many years working on the The ScapeCast and The Signal podcasts.

When he isn’t watching scifi DVDs Kevin enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and two daughters.

Greg Blanchard

Greg is the host of Inappropriate Conversations, a podcast that uses an audio-blog format to bring together “not for dinner” topics like politics, religion, sexuality and other aspects of popular culture that tend to be segregated. He describes the mission of Inappropriate Conversations this way: “Too often, political and/or religious ideologies stop open dialog. It’s time to speak freely and break down barriers that keep people separated.”

Greg is an anomaly. As a Christian, he challenges his faith and the church, believing that neither will grow otherwise. He believes that solutions to our political problems must come from an open exchange of ideas without entrenched ideologies. He also believes in the tremendous power in breaking down stereotypes. (Among those stereotypes is the notion that science fiction/ fantasy is “just a guy thing.”)

As an avid listener, Greg answers questions and provides feedback to podcasts like Take Him With You and several shows on Simply Syndicated. Being a lifelong fan of science fiction inevitably, and happily, led to Anomaly.
